Long Overdue

My sincerest apologies for being so incredibly distant over the last month and a half…not ok. I feel horrible about all of you who have been visiting SoCalMintJuleps and emailing me, hoping for new posts, and I promise to re-prioritize to allow at least a post every few days. In my defense, however, I honestly don’t know how I could stayed updated on everything because life has been, well, life, I suppose : ) Crazy, active, wild, fun, and so exciting!

Anthony and I just returned from an amazing river adventure, leaving late Sunday evening under the full moon, floating several hours down the Snake River, setting up camp, and getting down around a fire with good friends. After sleeping under the spectacular stars, we packed up our gear and headed further down the river, hitting some whitewater and stopping for cliff jumps and hot springs. A few full days on the river have left me with sunkisses, bruises, and many memories…

The last few months have also been filled with hikes, bikes, walks, talks, and love love love love. From enjoying our first place together to visits from dear friends and family, this summer in Jackson has been wildly wonderful, and I can’t wait to share more with you!

More Soon

What a whirlwind week! We’ve spent days moving, cleaning, settling in, and boxes are still stacked up, full of cute dresses begging for a place in our new (huge) closets! Today’s mission: unpack everything, organize and decorate the front room, and stock the kitchen with essentials. I’ll be a busy bee, but will try to catch up this evening!
